Well the wife and I are getting tired of climbing in and out over the hip bars on my cage so I am taking them out and making me some tube doors that will withstand a flop or roll.   I am building them out of 1.5" x .095" HREW for the main part that are in the pics and then I am also going to add in some 1.25".  For a latch I will be using Bestop soft door latches.  Best part is they are a mix of bent and rolled tube.  I also fabricated a custom hinges that mount to my roll cage and use a 5/8" bolt for the pin, this also allows me to put a locknut on there to keep them from walking away or coming off in a roll.  Here are some pics.

For the guys that wanted a price for 2 doors like these would be $300 plus the cost of a latch.  As of right now I can't find a latch for a JK.  On TJ's and YJ's that I've built tube doors for I've always used Bestop soft door latches which cost me $75 new.   Not saying I couldn't make them work for a JK just that I have never looked at what sytle latch is used on a JK.  If someone could post a pic that would help me find something to use.
