Hey, you mechanics out there, I got a question.  On my '92 Isuzu I've got this terrible squealing coming from my truck when I start it up on cold mornings.  If I push the clutch in, it stops but starts back up when I release the clutch.

I've been told this is probably the clutch release bearing (throwout bearing) but I'm trying to confirm this and I'm looking for info on replacing it.

Is this a difficult repair? Any special tools required? My clutch itself is not hydraulic and I have a good pedal feel.... it's just NOISY!

sounds like a throwout bearing to me. just a matter of sliding back the tranny and changing it out.  Should be doable in an afternoon depending on your rig.
