I put new brakes on the front (rotors, pads, calipers, hoses) of my Tahoe around 10,000 miles ago, and the rotors are already starting to warp again.  I'm suspecting it might be the cheaper (probably Chinese) rotors I got from the parts supply house.

I'm thinking that some high-quality drilled and slotted rotors might be the ticket.  Anyone have any experience with rotors like this for a Chevy 1500 with 6 lug wheels?  Any suggestions on brands/where to buy?

I know when i went to Oreily to get some for my Avalanche they highly recommended buying the 75$ a rotor.  They pulled the house brand and the good ones I think Wagner or something like that and there was a huge difference.  I would like to upgrade to a slotted and big brake upgrade.  I hear that the drilled are not real good on the heavy trucks, but that is just hear say I have no actual experience with them.

Yeah, after doing some more research, it appears that slotted rotors are good, but not drilled.  Drilling weakens the rotors too much for a heavy vehicle.
