I'm parting out a 1997 Chevy C3500 that has a good 14 bolt FF dually rear axle.

See my CL ad for more info:

I forgot to mention earlier that the axle is 4.10 ratio, limited slip (G80 option).  Narrow axle version, 40" center to center on spring perches.  I'm unsure of actual WMS at this time, as the dually wheels are still mounted.

Casey, does the truck still have the engine & lighting wiring harness from the firewall forward?

I'm in need of one for my dually

Yes it does!  I was careful to unplug everything and not cut any wires when I pulled the engine, in case anyone needed the harness.

You run a 6.5L, then?

No I got mine without motor or trans, got a built 454 gas to go back in there, the goobers that pulled the engine took all the wiring from the plug on the firewall forward leaving me nothing, I'd buy yours if you want to part with it!

Front bumper too if it's straight

Sure thing.  Wire harness should be complete.  Front bumper looks good, it's the diesel bumper with two intake air holes in it.  I think there might be one slight spot on the bottom where they may have tried pulling something.

Shoot me a PM with an offer on both items if you're intersted.  I can get a better pic of the bumper if you'd like, too.

Here's a closeup shot of the headlight plug and turn signal connectors:

Here's some up close pics of the bumper:

The bottom of the driver's side of the bumper is slightly tweaked out, like they tried pulling something with it.  Otherwise it looks pretty straight.

that was a single sealed beam headlamp work truck wasnt it?

that looks like a sealed beam connector, mine has composite lamps.

I think it will still work, I'll just have to come up with some connectors

I'm not sure of the WMS because the wheels are still on it.  I do know it is the narrower cab and chassis axle, and is narrower than the standard pickup dually axle.  It's 40" spring perches center to center.

I'm asking $250 for the alxe OBO.

So David,

What do you think?  Do you want the harness and the bumper?  I'll be down in NWA at Rick's house for the Moab meeting.  I could bring them down with me if you want them.

All,

I had a chance to measure the axle yesterday, and it is 64" wms to wms.

Thanks,

Casey
