Several folks thought it would be good if I blogged about my buggy build.

Here's a link.  It's just now to the point where it's about to start getting interesting.  I haven't caught up to where I am yet... but I will probably catch up in the next week or so.

What are you gonna run for links?  I am asking cause I need to redo my front suspension to remove some weak parts and I am going to order some DOM but I don't need a whole stick and if you want to go in together I could save us both some coin.  The more I buy the better the price I get

Right now my thoughts are to use 2” .250 wall DOM for lowers with 1.25 heims and the 1.5” .120 wall DOM with 7/8 heims for the uppers...but I could change my mind tomorrow (or with other suggestions that I haven't yet solicited).  I figure it'll be Feb before I'm ready for that.

...although I'm tempted to try the solid aircraft grade aluminum links ... they sound pretty slick...haven't researched cost of those compared to DOM yet.

Branik's are around $125-$150 per arm for aluminum arms.    Let me know if you need some 2"x.025" wall DOM cause I'll be ordering a stick right after Christmas.  I'm going to use 1.75" x .120" for my uppers since I always have some of it around.

I just ordered heims from HereticFab.  The game is afoot.  Taylor at Heretic has an interesting setup.  Buy your heims and bulid the links using crap/scrap/exhaust tube tack a nut on the tube to get it set up.  Then you call him, he cuts some chromoly dom, tigs chromoly bungs on a roller jig,  heat treats, cryo treats and ships them to you.  *bling* ... Bolt in custom harder than nails links.
