What type of entertainment does everyone want for the weekend...of course, aside from wheeling?

I was thinking one of the nights we should have some music like we did for Crawl 4 Christ.

Hey guys, are you looking for free entertainment?  Or are we able to pay somebody?  I only ask because I have a good friend that lives in Huntsville, TX.  He's originally from Siloam.  He's a DJ for a country station in Houston.  A few years ago he started writing Christian country music.  He's released one CD and working on his second.  This guy is truly gifted with music.  His music is from a man's point of view.  I would be willing to hit him up to see if he would be available that weekend.  I'm not sure if he charges for shows like that.  He's performed at churches in Siloam for free, but they always take up an offering after the concert to help offset travel costs.  Would this be of interest?  His name is David McMahon.  I have posted a link below to a site that has his bio and some of his music you can listen to.  Let me know what you think.  I don't have time to get on the site much anymore, so shoot me an email at branson.hall@hfa-ae.com

I listened to some of his songs and I really like him.  Definately a country sound.

I spoke to him a little on Friday.  He was going to look at his calendar, but he was afraid that was the same weekend as the Texas Ranch Rodeo finals.  If that's the case, he would be working.  He works as a rodeo announcer for some of the big circuits.  He's going to let me know as soon as he knows.  He seemed very interested in playing for us if he is available.

We decided to go a different route.   We got a juggler, we thought this would be entertaining for everyone and the kids would enjoy it as well.  I think they are going to juggle some jeep parts or something.

JUST KIDDING  :D  A friend of Eric's that sings in their church praise group is going to come out and sing.  He is bringing his bass player and drummer as well.  He has cut his own CD.  The best part is that he drives a JK!  I've heard him sing and I think he'll do a great job.  His name is Robert Meyer.  We have asked him to do a mix of Christian songs and other family friendly fun up tempo songs.  After all it is ROCK the Ozarks!

Sounds like a good mix.  Looking forward to hearing him.  I will however miss not getting to see the Juggler. :D
