Seemded like a hot topic for awhile, but I have not heard much about it lately.  Any Overlanding events being kicked around in the near future?

I haven't been able to get much interest in this type of off-roading from our members :(  In fact I get more grief about it than interest lol!  If I could get a few interested I would love to put together a three day trip this fall sometime.  Otherwise I'll probably join in on at least one of the Fall trips Central Overland will probably be putting together.

If I can ever get my heep running again I would be interested.  Not taking the Tundra again.  Too big for the trails around here and scratching my 4 month old truck was kinda painful.

Anyone know how to open up, diagnose, fix and put back together a 241Rocktrac Tcase?  I'm sure I could get it apart.. maybe even diagnose it, but who knows if I could get it back together

Yeah, Randy and I have been a few times....he went back in April, and we went together, along with Justin, back at the end of May.  Didn't seem like many others here were that interested in it.

Here's a link to the last trip we took with CO:  "New Guys Run"

I must admit, I like the overlanding/expedition style of off-roading better than hardcore wheeling.  Maybe that's because I've done about all I can do with my TJ without going much bigger, and I don't really want to go any bigger!  :D

Besides, it's really too hot do much right now.... yes, I'm a wimp!

I would still like to make one even though I sold the JK.  But as long as I have the 04 TJ it would work ok.  If I can just get over my medical issues I would sure try to be in on one.

Alright!  I promise I won't tell the other guys y'all are into this too  :D  Looks like we got enough interest to put something together.  Now our next hurdle, when?  With our big club event October 5-7 I'm not sure we can fit another big run in october.  What do y'all think?  Maybe early september or early november?

If you guy's get a trip across K-Trail I would like to join you. It's possible to make the full length to Arkansas in one long day. I went about 10 years ago, broke it up to two days. There are rental cabins on Hwy 259 and a good camp site at Billy Creek.

I would be interested in doing this trail, especially if we could plan on traversing it during some weekdays, instead of the weekend.

Randy, let me know when you plan this.  I would be interested.  I don't get to come on the site very often so make sure and email me if you don't mind.

Not sure we will want to do k-trail as our first overlanding trip as we don't have any members with experience on the k-trail and I think it would be a four hour drive for most of us just to start the trail.  I was thinking more like Natural Dam, AR to Cass, AR or something comporable.
