I hope I posted this in the right place and it's not already posted somewhere else.  I was wondering if Trailfrog or anyone else has a "Back Country Adventure" planned for this fall? Something like the one from Clayton to Mena or the Ozark one.

I've been meaning to get with Randy (Trailfrog) to see if he'd be up for leading us on another trip.  I would like sometime in October.  I really enjoyed the trip we took last October....

Sounds like fun. I would like to go if anyone has a open seat. My rig is not street legal.

Yep, I will be planning a three day trip towards the end of October most likely.  Might do a few more if the interest is there.

Ok good. We are definately interested in more also. We started building a small off road trailer to take because the whole family (4) will be going. Not sure what I could do but if I can help let me know. I've always wanted to take some trips like this but when I started out 4wheelin my rig kept getting bigger and bigger until it was offroad only. It's time to get back to enjoying the scenery that God created.

I'm thinking either the last weekend in October or the first weekend in November.  We would start either Thursday or Friday.  What do y'all think?

Hmmmm.... We were thinking of taking the kids camping on the last weekend of October (not sure I could talk the family into overlanding!), and I'm tied up on the first weekend of November.....

Let me do some thinking....

Looks like I could probably make the last weekend of October work (24th -26th).  I'm not sure yet if I could start on Thursday.  If not, I would plan on camping Thursday night and getting an early start Friday morning.  I'll have to be back home by late Saturday night.

I might also bring my six year old who'll be out of school that Thursday afternoon and Friday......

Last weekend in Oct. will work for us. We home school so whatever day is fine. We can just rearrange our school schedule.  Any idea what area yet?

Ok, it looks like the date will be Friday, Oct 25 - Sunday October 27th.  We will most likely start at Woolum on the Buffalo River near Harrison.  Some will be camping at Woolum on Thursday night. We will end up at St. Paul, AR on Sunday afternoon.

Not sure yet, James and I are going to check the route and try to determine about where we will be each night.  I'll let you know.  If I can find a route for Thursday would you be up for starting on Thursday?
