Since it's <1 month away, trying to plan forward a bit. I'll be on my new work schedule by then so should able to attend with my family, bar any unforseen events(getting off of weekend shift! yahoo!). Anyhow, is there a tentative plan on when, where etc? I believe a pot luck was mentioned in a past meeting - but it was lightly touched on being pre RTO13 the last meeting I was able to attend. Any how, I'm sure theres more than me curious on the goings on with this so opening up the discussion.

I think most of your questions will be answered at the meeting on Thursday night.

I'm sure that it will be discussed. The doubtful part is my ability to attend the meeting tomorrow night. I guess I'll just wait and see. Was just tryin to open up the topic because I have a busy schedule and try to plan as much as I can.

December 14th , Buckhorn trails , then we will gather at the large pavilion at Devils Den park for the meal. It has a fireplace and electricity. And clean bathrooms.

I reserved the pavilion today , and noticed that Harp's grocery is running a special !!! Buy $100 worth of groceries and get a free 10-12 lb turkey. If someone has the opportunity to pick up a free turkey , I'll fry it and that can be our main course to work the potluck around !!!

I'll try to make it for the trail rides, but I have a company Christmas party that I need to attend that evening, so I'll have to bug out early.  :(

If anyone has a propane patio style heater , or access to them, we could use those in the pavilion.

Also I did talk to the Rangers there , and they said we cannot staple or nail anything up , but we can get around that if need be.

Do we have an idea on how many folks are going out so I know how much food to bring (a side I'm guessing?) or if we need another turkey etc...I can bring my frier out too if we need to double down.

Is there a way to make a poll on the forums? to get a general head count?

I created an event on Facebook for this. Hopefully we can use it as a count. Please mark "Going" if you plan to go.
